Operational Update for May 17, 2021:
Throughout you stay
Firstly, you’ll notice the team will all being wearing face coverings, along with other guests in all public areas in line with Government guidelines.
We have hand sanitizer ready for you at the entrance and key spots around the hotel. And we’ll ensure social distancing measures are thoughtfully observed.
We’ll also be asking our guests checking-in, to check in on the NHS COVID-19 app too. And at the end of your stay simply use the express checkout at reception for a contact-free goodbye.
We’re keeping things spotless with our enhanced and rigorous cleaning and hygiene protocols. All bedrooms go through a high-touch, deep clean including extra disinfection of the most frequently touched guests' room areas before every new guest arrives.
Restaurant & bars
We're delighted to say that our restaurants and bars are open again. Reservation for all mealtimes in the restaurants, including breakfast will be required to manage the social distancing and flow of our guests.
We’re not quite ready to roll out the breakfast buffet that everyone loves.
At The Royal Horseguards hotel, we’ll be serving plated breakfast, which you can order from our new menu.
Breakfast The Tower hotel during the week (Sunday – Thursday) will be served in the Vicinity Restaurant. On the weekend (Friday & Saturday) it will be room service only.
The hotel gym and Executive lounge will be temporarily closed until further notice.
Meeting & events spaces
We’re pleased that both indoor and outdoor business events can take place as per government guidance. This includes conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, charity auctions, private dining events such as charity or gala dinners and awards ceremonies, and corporate hospitality.
Capacity restrictions will apply to both indoor events (up to 1,000 people or 50% of a venue or site’s capacity, whichever is lower) and outdoor events (up to 4,000 people or 50% of a venue or site’s capacity, whichever is lower).
