Stay safely with Guoman Hotels

The Royal Horseguards hotel, Tower hotel and Amba Marble Arch hotel are open and welcoming guests.

However, Great Cumberland Place will continue to remain closed at this time.

Throughout your stay 
Firstly, you’ll notice the team is wearing face-coverings. This is to ensure that both our guests and our colleagues are kept as safe as possible. We would like to request that our guests also continue to wear a face-covering in all public areas, in consideration of others.
 
We have hand sanitiser ready for you at the entrance and key spots around the hotel, please feel free to use it. We’ll continue to ensure that social distancing measures are thoughtfully observed and we will also still be asking our guests to check in on the NHS COVID-19 app too.
 
We’re keeping things spotless with our enhanced and rigorous cleaning and hygiene protocols. All bedrooms go through a high-touch, deep clean, including extra disinfection of the most frequently touched guests' room areas before every new guest arrives. 
 
Restaurant & bars 
Our restaurants and bars at the Tower Hotel and Royal Horseguards Hotel are open. Breakfast is being served as per normal in all our hotels. Reservation for all mealtimes in the restaurants will be required to manage the social distancing and flow of our guests. Please contact reception should you need assistance with bookings.

The Deli at the Amba Marble Arch Hotel, is currently open for light bites, coffee and drinks, as well as the Bar. Unfortunately, the Grill remains closed.
 
Hotel facilities 
The hotel gyms have been re-opened at the Tower and Royal Horseguards hotels and are ready for your use, with regular sanitisation procedures in place. 
 
Meeting & events spaces 
We’re pleased that both indoor and outdoor business events can take place as per government guidance. This includes conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, charity auctions, private dining events such as charity or gala dinners and awards ceremonies, and corporate hospitality. These facilities are available at all our Guoman hotels.
 

Travel restrictions have once again been tightened and PCR testing for all international arrivals is now required on, or before, day 2. All international arrivals, regardless of vaccination status, must self-isolate until they receive a negative result from their arrival PCR test.

We know things can change quickly and you might have to modify your booking. Check our booking policy below and let us know how we can help.

  • For all prepaid, non-flexible bookings for stays from 29 November 2021, up until and including 31 January 2022, we will offer free modification of reservations to any dates of travel within the next 12 months or a full refund.
    Please note: for these modifications, the price will change to the best available rate based on the new stay dates and any difference in rate will need to be paid. If the price is less, then a credit will be held against the future booking. There will be no partial refunds.

  • Flexible stays: Flexible bookings can be cancelled without any penalty, but all no-shows will be charged in accordance with the original terms and conditions. You can change your reservation online up to 2 pm on the day of arrival, using your order number. This is within your confirmation email.
  • Booked via 3rd party, please head to your original booking point to find out your options. You'll be able to find contact options in your confirmation email.

Some of our services have changed

Keeping guests and our team safe is our number one priority. We've made several changes to how we operate to meet our high safety standards.

General changes

You will see our staff wearing a face covering and hand sanitisers for usage will be placed throughout the hotel. We request that guests wear a face mask when moving around the hotel and we ask you to maintain social distancing with other guests.

On arrival, we ask that, in addition to checking in at Reception, that you also check-in using the NHS COVID-19 app.

You will be able to do a contactless checkout using the express checkout in the reception area of our hotels.

Changes to your room

Within your room, we've removed any loose collateral such as marketing material and items such as newspapers, bathrobes and slippers and complimentary mini-bars.

Meeting room cancellations or changes

Where delegates or group travellers are impacted by either the 'Red country list' or the new arrivals testing regime, we will not charge for attrition or cancellation of groups if made at least two days prior to arrival.

Any changes within two days before arrival will be subject to the terms and conditions of the original contract.
