EVENTS & HOTELS NEAR THE LONDON MARATHON
The annual London Marathon is one of the biggest and most famous marathons in the world, with over 40,000 people running it each year and thousands more supporting and cheering from the sidelines.
The event brings a great sense of community to the city, with many run-off (pun intended) events going on around London including street parties, mini festivals and celebrations of the athletes and amateur runners.
