The Reading & Writing Room is a splendid work of authentic Victorian grandeur, with its high ceilings, murals and twinkling chandeliers. Yet it’s also a thoroughly up-to-date venue for Whitehall business meetings, with air-conditioning and BT Openzone wireless internet access.
The huge windows admit masses of natural light – and, of course, afford magnificent views out across the Whitehall Gardens to the River Thames and the London Eye. And with space to seat 250 people theatre-style or together with the Gladstone Library up to 450 guests, it’s an inspiring setting for any occasion.
An ideal Central London conference venue, The Reading & Writing Room can provide staging to cater for all types of events and our in-house AV company can provide on-site technicians as required. The whole area is accessible for wheelchair users.
