Winston Churchill is one of the greatest political figures in British history. So it’s only appropriate that our new bar, which occupies the former home of the National Liberal Club, should bear his name. As well as Churchill himself, Liberal Prime Ministers including Gladstone, Asquith and Lloyd George, and the writers HG Wells and George Bernard Shaw have met, debated and relaxed within these walls. And with its opulent décor and excellent range of wines, spirits and cocktails, it remains an ideal venue for private parties up to 60 people and intimate get-togethers demanding peace and privacy.
