The Great Game returns to Kilburn for a short run, including a further new play, before a major US tour. Twelve playwrights thrillingly lay bare two centuries' worth of foreign intervention in the region.

BBC Proms - Week Two
The BBC Proms' second week at the Royal Albert Hall ends with an 80-year-old Proms debutant: Stephen Sondheim. There are also visits by orchestras from Australia, Birmingham, Bremen and Cardiff.
Carnaval del Pueblo
The Carnaval del Pueblo, a vibrant celebration of Latin American culture, salsas its way into South London's Burgess Park. More than 100,000 people come for the Latino party, which incorporates music, food, parades and arts and crafts stalls.
