Guoman Hotels Group Limited is the principal investment of Guocoleisure limited, an investment holding company with its primary listing on the Singapore Stock Exchange , and secondary listings on the London and New Zealand exchanges. Guocoleisure became majority owned by the Guoco Group in October 2005.

The Guoman Hotels Group owns leases or manages 38 hotels in the United Kingdom. All are full service hotels, catering for both business and leisure travellers, with industry leading EBITDA conversions.

The new Guoman brand is based on detailed research into our potential guests' tastes, preferences, aspirations and exceptional across a range of products and services. Thistle - Upmarket but Informal 4 Star

Thistle is a well-established UK brand, with strong roots and recognition in the domestic market. These informal upmarket hotels offer efficient, warm, straightforward service in a comfortable and relaxing setting ideally suited to the conscientious business traveller or leisure guest.

32 hotels in the UK, with 10 in central London, 5,797 bedrooms, 2,321 in central London, 300 meeting rooms across the UK, 13 Otium Health & Leisure Clubs with facilities including swimming-pools, saunas and gyms.

Development

Guoman Hotel Management (UK) Limited is looking to expand its hotel portfolio both within the United Kingdom and internationally. We will consider all opportunities submitted and will provide quick responses.

We have recently fully refurbished two new hotels in Malaysia and are on site with a new hotel in Shanghai, China to open in Spring 2010. A further hotel in Beijing is due to start on site early 2010 as well as a new build hotel in Damansara, Malaysia which is also to commence in 2010.
