As part of an ongoing strategy to invest over £100 million in Guoman Hotels’ portfolio of London properties in three years, the Charing Cross hotel has recently opened a £250k state of the art guest-only gym.

It is the first time guests at the Victorian property will be able to enjoy a gym. With a modern chic look, the brand new gym is kitted out with three plasma screens, an iPod docking station, refrigerated refreshments and fresh towels.

Riddian Davies, general manager said: “Inspired by our grand architecture, we have endeavoured to provide our guests with a hotel experience that invokes a sense of history, but a feeling of home. The new gym is a welcomed addition for our guests, making them feel energised through a great work out.”

The gym is equipped with two treadmills, one cross trainer, one super bench, FTS Glide (an all body workout machine), two stretch mats and a weights rack with dumbbells (ranging from 4kg-20kg).
