The Grosvenor Hotel

We are investing £18 million in a total refurbishment of the landmark Grosvenor hotel, becoming the fifth London hotel in the Guoman collection.

The refurbishment will see the complete redesign of the entire property, including all bedrooms, public areas and our restaurants and bars.

Whilst remaining sensitive to the property’s heritage as a Victorian railway hotel we will create a contemporary, inspirational, high-service hotel themed around the indulgence of luxury travel. 

Restaurants & Bars

The popular Victorian lounge area; with its large windows overlooking Buckingham Palace Road, will undergo a full refurbishment. Following strong guest feedback revealing it as a firm favourite and well-loved feature of the property, it will remain a traditional lounge and continue to offer the best of traditional Victorian table service as well as a nostalgic, elegant Afternoon Tea menu.

Sitting next to the lounge, the bar will be transformed into The Brasserie at the Grosvenor creating a new relaxed dining area offering a range of appetisers, light snacks and favourite dishes, ideal for corporate lunch, meetings a relaxed dinner or just a catch up with friends.

For a truly refined experience, we are excited to introduce The Grand Imperial; an authentic Cantonese restaurant which is set to become a sought-after destination eatery. It's set to open November 2010 and its menu will be created by The Grand Imperial’s world-renowned, Hong Kong-based expert chef, Ah-Seng.

Bedrooms

We will be transforming our 357 bedrooms into 348 more spacious, contemporary rooms, designed and furnished with the modern traveller in mind. Rooms will have Egyptian cotton bed linen, flat screen televisions, iPod docking stations, WIFI and air-conditioning throughout.

VIP Tower Suites & the Executive Lounge

With the business traveller in mind we are creating two outstanding VIP Tower Suites; featuring inspiring, self-contained executive areas with striking views over the city, there is also the flexibility to book as accommodation or to book the complete tower for corporate use. The Guoman Club Lounge will also be a brand new addition, offering an exclusive executive area for business guests to unwind, work or network.

Meeting & Events

We will be enhancing each of our 11 Meeting Rooms ensuring we offer state of the art technology. Ideal for all your functions and events including product launches, corporate parties, weddings, private dinners and business meetings.

The newly refurbished Grosvenor Hotel will also offer state-of-the-art gym facilities, WIFI and full air conditioning throughout. And we remain in the same superb location, offering fast, convenient and unrivalled access to the capital and beyond.
