Guoman Hotels has appointed the dynamic Anna-Marie Dowling who joins the deluxe London hotel group in September to head up its five-star Whitehall property, The Royal Horseguards.
Industry respected Dowling will lead the prestigious 281 bedroom property under a re-energised direction as general manager, strengthening its positioning as a leading London hotel of its class.
With her enviable hospitality credentials and undeniable success managing quality hotels of this calibre, including: Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel & Café Royal Conference Centre, London’s Marriott County Hall, and most recently, as managing director of Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa - Dowling’s arrival is greatly anticipated by the Guoman group.

Dowling’s appointment comes as the hotel collection confirms the property is set to receive significant investment to its entire food & beverage offering - further establishing The Royal Horseguards as a superior-quality hotel in central London.
The Royal Horseguards is the five-star property of the Guoman collection, which currently boasts four landmark properties as well as a recently-launched property in Shanghai.
