Jade Buddha Temple
In the western part of Shanghai, there is a venerable and famous Buddhist temple, Jade Buddha Temple. In 1882, an old temple was built to keep two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. The temple was destroyed during the revolution that overthrew the Qing Dynasty.
Shanghai Grand Theatre
Shanghai Grand Theater is located on the west of the People's Square, the center of Shanghai. Designed by well-known French architect Jean Marie Charpentier, it is in concise and graceful geometrical shape as the crown-like white arc-shaped roof stretching to the blue sky.

French Concession "White House"
Walking down Fenyang Lu, you will be fascinated by the white building for its style and magnificence. Shanghainese living nearby call it "the Little White House" because of its resemblance to the presidential palace in Washington, DC. The spectacular mansion was one of the most opulent houses in the French Concession.
The Shanghai Circus World is located on Gong He Xin Road and is moved from the former Acrobatic Hall of Shanghai. The Circus World is a ball shape building and is a professional place on acrobatics, magic and circus performances.
Jing An Temple
Jing'an Temple is the most famous landmark in Jing'an District, from which the district obtained its name. It is known as the oldest shrine in the city, dating back even further than the city itself. It was constructed in 247 at the time of the Kingdom of Wu, during the Three Kingdoms period, more than 1,000 years before the official beginning of the city of Shanghai in 1292.
After half a century of development the Shanghai Zoo has become one of the best ecological gardens in Shanghai. The zoo houses and exhibits more than 6,000 animals, among which are 600 rare animals that include the giant panda, golden monkey, and the South China Tiger. All of these animals are indigenous to China. Animals from other parts of the world include, the chimpanzee, giraffe, polar bear and kangaroo.
Plaza 66 is a commercial and office complex in Shanghai, consisting of a shopping mall and two skyscrapers. The shopping mall has 5 levels with total area over 50,000 square metres. Entering the plaza, you feel like you are walking on an avenue, lined with shop windows.
